Become A 'Teacher'

Become a teacher is not as easy as I thought before, besides there are many student with very 'special' attitude in class, there are so many things that a teacher should think about. In this post, I would like to share my experience about how it feels when we, as a student become a 'teacher'.
In the beginning of the second semester, Mrs. Agnes, as our English teacher gave us a task that is very unusual and very very unique. She asked us to become a teacher. At first, I thought that we can be a teacher in any subject, so it wasn't a big deal. I can be a math teacher, or maybe physics teacher,or any other 'Science' subject. But the disaster started when she asked us to become a history teacher. Disaster? Why disaster? That is because I really really hate history. I had remedial test on that subject on the first semester. At that time, we had to be in pairs to teach, it helped me so much. So I took Griffin as my 'teaching'-partner.
The first thing that Mrs. Agnes asked is, to build a lesson plan. So we built it as soon as possible. It contained the duration, the main topic, the method, and many details that we can't mention one by one.The 'Lesson Plan' thing was a good start for us,we decided to take the first and the second crusade as our main topic. We chose that topic because I had ever watch the film about 'the first and the second crusade', so I thought that 'the first and the second crusades' wouldn't be so hard to memorize it.
Our group taught at the 'last minute'. And by 'last minute' I mean we taught near the end of the assessment(near the end of the monthly report). When we taught the lesson, we use power point to teach them, and after we finished teaching, we made a game called 'Description' game. How to play 'Description' game? It is easy, first I will divide the class into 2 groups, The first group will be called 'The Christians' and the another group will be called 'The Muslims',just like the battle of crusades(not being a racist). Then, I will gave a 'Keyword', and the leader of each group will describe the word and the first group who guess the right answer, will get a point, and the one who has the most points, win. It's simple but it's very fun though. After a couple of 'Keyword', we made a modification, the leader has to describe the 'Keyword' without talking. So they just allowed to describe the 'Keyword' with body language. And it was more fun than before.
At the end of the class, Griffin and I say thank you for all of my classmates which is pretending to be our 'student', and say good bye. It is a very impressing experience ever. I have never become a teacher before. I have never know how hard to control a class, how hard to think about today's lesson, how hard to make the class become excited to my lesson. And now I know becoming a teacher is really really not as easy as I thought before. So, thank you Mrs. Agnes to allow me to become a teacher for a certain time, and I would like to say it's very important to every student out there to respect your teacher however he/she is.
